TVS Creon and TVS Zeppelin to be launched in India soon
TVS Motors is a well-established motorcycle brand in India. They already have several two wheeler models in the market that are popular among bike riders. TVS Jupiter is considered a safe and sturdy motorbike for Indian roads, and many women prefer riding a TVS Scooty Pep Plus. At the beginning of the year 2020, TVS announced the launch of its up and coming bike series. So, whether you are a first-time bike buyer or looking for an upgrade, you can take a look at the all-new TVS motorbikes to be launched in India soon.
Also, look for TVS insurance offered by different insurers to ensure that your bike is financially safeguarded at all times from natural as well as man-made calamities. Keeping that in mind, let us proceed to the two new TVS bikes to be launched in 2020.
- TVS Zeppelin
TVS Zeppelin was a concept bike from this automobile company. It was on display at the Delhi Auto Expo by TVS Motors and is now into production. The all-new TVS Zeppelin has some unique features that are worth a mention.
It comes with a 220cc liquid-cooled motor. The engine’s output is said to be supplemented by an Integrated Starter Generator, thus providing extra motive power. Additionally, the bike is said to have a 1200W regenerative assist motor with 48V Li-ion battery, giving out high-class performance.
Other hardware includes the upside-down front forks, LED lighting, bio-key speedometer, and online connectivity. The bike also comes with an integrated action camera, perfect for bike riders and vloggers across the country.
The bike style has a cruiser format, similar to Ducati Diavel and Bajaj Dominar. This format is said to be appealing to a wide range of audiences. Since TVS never sported this format before, exploring and launching the same makes much sense for the company.
- TVS Creon
TVS Creon is an electric scooter concept that was unveiled by the TVS Motors at the Auto Expo 2018. The scooter is said to have some fantastic and unique features for an electric bike.
To begin with, it is said to have a Li-ion battery pack producing 12kW power. It will allow you to go from 0 to 60 kph in 5.1 seconds. Also, the battery pack can be charged up to 80 percent in an hour.
The bike chassis is a perimeter frame and comes with same alloy wheels, tyres, and front disc brakes as that of Ntorq 125. Additionally, the scooter will have a rear disc brake and single-channel ABS.
TVS Creon concept also included a TFT colour screen and is said to sport features like app connectivity with cloud, three riding modes, regenerative braking, park assist, anti-theft, GPS and navigation, and geo-fencing.
To Conclude
TVS Zeppelin is expected to be launched in February 2020 at INR 1.15 lakh and onwards, while TVS Creon is scheduled to be launched in the same month at INR 1 lakh and onwards.
However, unless the Indian government provides any adequate infrastructure for charging electric bikes, the production of TVS Creon is likely to be postponed. Additionally, people interested in bikes like Creon will look for bike insurance for electric vehicles, and then choose coverage depending on their need and affordability.
